A vision board for your 4th of July celebration

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year?! July 4th marks the peak of summer - complete with the warm weather, backyard BBQs, festive food, fireworks, and time with family & friends. Whether you’re hosting a Fourth of July party or looking for some easy and delicious summer recipes, I’ve curated a list of favorite appetizers, mains, desserts, and decor that always seem to be a hit at summer gatherings.

After reviewing the recipes, you’ll notice how easy it is to use fresh fruits and vegetables to add pops of color to the table (no dyes needed!). I love to use tomatoes, blueberries, watermelon, bell peppers, and strawberries to bring in the red, white, and blue theme for a patriotic party. Many of these dishes are light and can pair well with a variety of dishes, whether you’re responsible for one dish or the whole spread, I’ve got you covered.

Before we jump into the details, here’s a glimpse at what my 4th of July menu looks like:

Simple summer party main courses

If you’re in charge of the main dish for the evening, here are some options that are a unique take on the usual hamburgers & grilled chicken. You can follow the recipes exactly for a smaller crowd or double/triple them for a larger group.
