Dark chocolate macadamia nut cookies
These ooey, gooey dark chocolate macadamia nut cookies are a perfect sweet treat without all the additives. (Gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar free)
Ingredients (12 servings)
2 1/2 cups almond flour
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/3 cup macadamia nuts
1/2 cup avocado oil
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut sugar, salt, and baking soda. Stir to mix.
Add in the avocado oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
Scoop dough into 12 evenly sized balls and place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Lightly press each dough ball down to flatten slightly.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Pro Tip: Swap the nuts or chocolate for any you prefer! Almonds, white chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips would also be delicious!
